ArtE-Lessons

ArtE-Lessons are demonstrations and articles on various aspects of art that you can download, to view on your computer or print out to study later. ArtE-Lessons range from short free articles to in-depth demos for a small fee.

They are written by artists and often demonstrate a particular medium, style or technique. Some are downloadable others will soon have CDs or hardcopies available.

The technique and medium based lesson are generally step by step and ofeen include refernce drawings and images. ArtE-Lessons are coded to the level of knowledge necessary of a particular medium or technique. Beginner ones require no real working knowledge of the medium or technique and are often introductory type of lessons any one can use. Intermediate lessons require some familiarity with the medium or methods used to create the projects illustrated. While Advanced lessons require a good working knowledge of the medium or techniques involved.

ArtE-Lessons also feature three other categories of offerings. Artist Revealed covers articles about art history, movements, philosophy and more. Business of Art includes information on pricing, inventory controls, galleries, shows, competions and the like. Finally, the Studio category contains articles for artists of all levels about the basics. Supplies, mediums, processes and even organizationand creating studio space will be covered in this section.
